Intermediate Homeschool Kids Sewing Class

Let your personality shine and expand your sewing skills in this Intermediate 6 week course. Students meet once a week to learn how to sew three projects from start to finish. From the basics of choosing fabric and reading a pattern to finishing a functional item that can be taken home and used, students will have fun chosing their own fabrics and gaining knowledge in a fun, energetic environment.

Projects that will be completed include an Apron with a pocket, Pjs with an elastic waist, and a gathered skirt or pair of shorts.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Seam accuracy, pattern reading, sew pockets and fabric ties, garment cutting and construction, gathering stitches, sewing with elastic.
