Tuffett Pillow with Shelly Fitzgerald May 11

During this full day class you will create an adorable tuffet pillow using an incredible Bernina sewing machine and with expert guidance from Bernina educator Shelly Fitzgerald! This project is technique based and will focus learning or honing your skills in strip piecing, cording and invisable zippers. During the class you will use several different Bernina presser feet that pair perfectly with these techniques! 
Join us and play with an amazing Bernina machine and create a unique tuffet pillow.

We will provide the machines and the majority of the supplies, which is all included in the class price. The couple of things you need to bring are fabric and an invisible zipper (so that the pillow is to your liking) Here is the breakdown of what you need to bring:

*18 strips of 2.5" x 22" (A jelly roll works great for this and is enough fabric to make 2 pillows)

* 2 strips of 2.5"x 22" for piping
* A 12-14" invisible zipper (Longer is fine to as it can be shortened)

We will take a lunch break mid day and participants are welcome to leave for lunch or bring a sack lunch. We do have a fridge and microwave available for participant use.
