Vivid Kaleidoscope Sit 'n Sew Retreat

Join Anna Waller for our second in store retreat! This time Anna will be taking students through the process of making a kaleidoscope quilt using a Jason Yenter - In the Beginning Fabrics - kaleidoscope kit. Please note the kit cost is in addition to the retreat cost and kits must be ordered ahead of time. Registration deadlines in order to ensure kits arrive in time is May 15, 2026.

This 4 day, in store retreat will allow all students to set up their sewing stations and leave them for each retreat day. Out of town students are welcome! A Clean Stitch Sewing Center has a special negotiated rate with a nearby local hotel. Please call the store and speak to Cameron or Josie for details.

Each day the retreat will start at 10:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. 

***Snacks and drinks will be provided during the retreat and we will break for lunch each day. A sack lunch is recommended, but there are fast food options conveniently located to the shop.



Supplies Needed:

1) In The Beginning Kaleidoscope Quilt Kit - $130 each - available from A Clean Stitch

Cutting Mat
Rotary Cutter
Rulers: 24" quilting ruler, 45 degree triangle ruler, 5 1/2" square ruler (option 9 1/2" square ruler)
Scissors
Seam Ripper
Flower Head Pins
Pin Cushion
Thread to match the fabrics in your kit
Sewing machine in good working order with manual
Two bobbins filled prior to class
Sewing machine needles

**Optional - 1/4" foot for your machine, if not using a 1/4" foot make sure you know where your 1/4" is on your machine
Measuring tape, notebook, pencil and pen

Please read the pattern before class, starch your fabric, you can cut your 6 yard piece into 2-3 yard pieces

If registrations do not meet the minimum students required the class will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Registration minimum for this class:  6

Sewing Machine Rentals available for $25/session. Reservations must be made in advance of class through A Clean Stitch Sewing Center.

Students may cancel up to 1 week before class for a refund in the form of a store credit equal to the cost of the class. Any cancellations after 1 week before class will NOT be refunded.

Late registrations may be available and are at the discretion of the shop in coordination with the instructor. Please contact A Clean Stitch Sewing Center for late registration inquiries.
