Sparkle Quilt

Beautiful lone star quilts don't have to require "Y" seams - especially when you paper piece them. Sparkle finishes at 68"x 68" and makes a great lap size quilt or even a gorgeous wall hanging. We will be using specific Quiltworx compatible strip sets by Timeless Treasures - each set contains 48 unique fabrics cut into 2-1/2″ strips. The fabrics are presorted into 6 groups of 8 fabrics, and each of the groups are further sorted from lightest to darkest fabrics making it easy to design the ombre' effect in these quilts.

This is a Kit class requiring the purchase of the Sparkle Quilt Kit. Participants will have a choice between the Huckleberry or Eva's Rainbow colorway. There are limited seats in this class and kits as well. This means first come, first served on kit choice. It's best to register early and get first dibs on kits.



This class will be held in 3 sessions and will also include a private prep video link for preparing your pattern only for class. Everything else to prepare your kit will be done during session 1.

This class is scheduled out to allow you time in begin to work on your units so that by June 6 we can begin putting it all together. If you are not done, you can join an optional Just Judy Sew Day being offered over the summer where you can get additional teaching help to finish.

Required:

Sparkle Quilt Kit - Includes Pattern, Foundation Papers, Choice of Eva's Rainbow or Huckleberry strip set and coordinated background fabrics.

Additional Supplies Needed:

Basic Paper Piecing Supplies (a printable list will be emailed to you)
Sewing Machine in Good Working Condition

If registrations do not meet the minimum students required the class will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Registration minimum for this class: 6

Registration Deadline: March 28, 2025

Sewing Machine Rentals available for $25/session. Reservations must be made in advance of class through A Clean Stitch Sewing Center.

Students may cancel up to 1 week before class for a refund in the form of a store credit equal to the cost of the class. Any cancellations after 1 week before class will NOT be refunded.
