Scrappy Jacket

In this super fun clothing class you will create your own unique scrappy jacket using a variety of free motion or decorative stitches (or both). Paola Jo will walk you through the creation process and discuss other options for making this same jacket using a long arm, sitdown quilter, or with hand stitched shiitake or embroidery. The possibilities are endless!! This jacket also serves as a great stashbuster!
 
Supply List:

-Your Domestic Sewing Machine with a few fancy stitches (or try out a new Bernina model!)
-An oversized sweatshirt (or two)
-Shoe box full of small scraps
-Lots of fun threads
-Fabric for Binding (recommend 1 yard to be safe)
-Buttons optional

All your usual sewing tools:
-Power cord
-Machine accessories
(Asstd feet, walking foot,
button hole maker foot)
-Bobbins
-Pins or clips
-Pinking shears
-Rotary cutter
-Scissors
-Seam ripper
-Personal pressing pad & tiny iron
-Hand sewing needles

You will also need Mistyfuse and a non stick pressing sheet (available for purchase)

Sergers will be available for final assembly… or you could use a zigzag stitch

Sewing Machine Rentals available for $25/session. Reservations must be made in advance of class through A Clean Stitch Sewing Center.

Students may cancel up to 1 week before class for a store credit equal to the cost of the class. Any cancellations after 1 week before class will NOT be refunded.

Late registrations may be available and are at the discretion of the shop in coordination with the instructor. Please contact A Clean Stitch Sewing Center for late registration inquiries.
