Quilted Sneakers Class- May 23

Express your fun and creative side by making your own distinctive pair of sneakers! Choose your fabric to express your personality or to match a favorite outfit. They are easier than you might think and are fun to make. Once you make a pair you will certainly want to make more for yourself or as gifts!


Fabric Suggestions:
Quilting cotton or batiks are the easiest fabric to work with but lightweight denim, cotton canvas, chambray and bottom weight linens are also good choices. Avoid knits, napped fabrics or coated fabrics like oilcloth that don’t breathe. Sneakers can be made with 1, 2 or 3 fabrics.

Class Fee is per student and INCLUDES a complete sneaker kit and full day of instruction.

The kit includes pattern book with instructions, sneaker soles, (available in white or black), inner soles, saddler’s needle, waxed thread for sewing soles to tops, colored eyelets, colored shoelaces, fusible foam, and fusible interfacing. Waxed thread, eyelets and shoelaces are available for students in a variety of colors, on a first
come first served basis.

Additional Items Available for Purchase the Day of the Class:
Shoe soles: $75/pair
Colored shoelaces (45" for classic or 54" for high tops): $3.00/pair
Colored eyelets (10 Pc for classic): $2.50
Colored eyelets (16 Pc for high tops): $3.50
Colored waxed thread: $3.00/6yds.

If registrations do not meet the minimum students required the class will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Registration minimum for this class: 6

Registration Deadline: May 15, 2026
Sewing Machine Rentals available for $25/session. Reservations must be made in advance of class through A Clean Stitch Sewing Center.

Students may cancel up to 1 week before class for a store credit equal to the cost of the class. Any cancellations after 1 week before class will NOT be refunded.

Late registrations may be available and are at the discretion of the shop in coordination with the instructor. Please contact A Clean Stitch Sewing Center for late registration inquiries.
