Loving Your Longarm Artsy Fartsy Quilted Jacket October Class

A quilted jacket on my longarm?..... Absolutely!!!!! In this month's longarm class, Paola Jo will teach you how to make an artsy fartsy quilted jacket on a longarm. This 2 part class will be broken down into one 2 hour prep time and one 3 hour construction time. Enjoy the company of other sewers, receive expert advice on all things longarming, and expand your own creative possibilities with expert guidance each step of the way!!

Part 1 Prep: 

You will need to bring a (very) loose fitting pullover hooded sweatshirt (The hood of the sweatshirt will be the hood for your jacket, so choose the color of your sweatshirt accordingly), a queen size or larger quilt top (not a finished quilt), and good fabric scissors. We will split the sweatshirt and load it onto our longarm with your quilt top and get the quilting portion of this jacket completed.

Part 2 Construction:

For part 2 you will assemble your jacket. You will need to bring your sewing machine, general sewing supplies and 1 yard of a coordinating fabric to use for binding. We will have serger stations set up and available for use during class
